Kitta

This is my yearbook editor this year, isn't she beautiful, and like Rachel, she's a smartie, too. We've grown pretty close over the last three years. I can't wait to see this book we are going to produce. I knew these photos were going to be great. The rest of the session is on the website under Kitta.

My little boy and his dog!

There's nothing cuter than little kids with puppies. When we first got Murphy, Bennett was not too excited. Now, he is playing with him more. I still think Addy will probably be the favorite, but who knows? He already prefers her shoes over anyone else's in the house, much to her disappointment. Anyway, we went to the park last weekend and I snapped a few of Murphy and Bennett playing around. We have also taken him to be groomed; Murphy looked pretty scrappy when we first got him, but now he is much better. You can tell in the pictures what he looked like before his haircut, notice his crazy ears! They remind me of little ole' men with hair coming out of the ears!

Family

In spite of the rainy weather, we snapped a few of Max with the family tonight. We got to enjoy them this weekend, since Dawn celebrated a birthday! It is always fun to see the kids enjoying each other so much. I posted a few of my favorites, and the rest are under the Conine gallery on the website. http://www.stillmomentsbyleighann.com/. This was my first attempt with family and newborn, so it was a ton of fun and we got some terrific shots.

Passmore's

Tonight I went to a new place for pictures. I absolutely love this boardwalk. Ft. Smith is lucky to have such great blessings! Speaking of blessings, this family is one, can you get over their innocent look?! I'm thrilled they've moved back to town. Needless to say, this session was one I was looking forward to because I've only photographed "big kids" one other time, so I was anxious to see what shots I could get. I love these three because they were themselves and gave me some real time smiles, the ones mom loves most. I think my favorites were the ones on the car! Thanks Stephanie for giving me some new looks; we will keep it on the downlow, huh Laurel! Anyway, I'll have this session uploaded to the website sometime tonight. Stephanie I forgot to tell you that I'll just make this a public gallery, no password needed. thanks again, guess Cooper didn't miss much of a game, afterall, huh?
oh, and mom--- don't these girls look just like Jennifer Sheppard? I really didn't see it until I started looking at the pictures.

Ellie

This girl was a life saver this past year, she was the most responsible teenager, ever! Never missing a day of school, she picked up my son each day from Ballman and delievered him safely to NHS. Seriously, I hope to have at least one of my three turn out that good. Now, she has just a few short months before graduating from SHS. We got some beautiful shots tonight. Hope you enjoy! I sure did. BTW-I'm having so much FUN! Thanks Amy, Ellie, and Muh!:) She has a gallery on the website with the rest of the shots.

senior sessions!

I had such a great time tonight with Rachael. Besides being ridiculously smart, just named nat'l merit semi-finalist, she is beautiful. I told her if I can't get some great shots, then I should just quit. She is helping this year with the yearbook staff. She is involved in so much at school, I couldn't list it even if I wanted to. Anyway, I couldn't decide on my fav, so I posted several. I'll add a 'senior' gallery on my website sometime Sunday. Most of her shots will be on that public gallery. Did I mention how much fun I had, so much so that I've got another senior session tomorrow with a very special Rebel!

More Murphy

Bryant's night night is a hot ticket with Murphy, so we've had to get creative on the blanket's whereabouts. However, I think Bryant likes the chase, just not when it ends in Murphy's favor. We've had one bad night, but other than that, he's doing pretty good with the crate training, the dog that is. Doug checks on him at lunch and I get him after school so he's not in the crate too much. Addison has impressed me the most, she handles the puppy very well, and she can take him outside and watch him.

Last of the Litter!

Doug has literally turned me over to myself. In the absence of mind, I bought this little westie yesterday from a lady in Eastern OK. Can you say impulsive? We didn't have to spend much because he was the last one of his litter (hmmm)and a bit older than most folks buy puppies. He is 13 weeks old. We surprised the kids with this one, heck we surprised ourselves, seeing how I've never seen one of the dogs in real life. After church this morning, I've encountered several who can give me advice on this 'inside dog' endeavor. Neither Doug nor I have ever had an inside dog. We currently have an elderly chocolate lab, Sophie who we love. But, Sophie is strictly Doug's dog. So, a few weeks ago, I started thinking it would be fun for the kids and I to have a little dog for inside. We looked up the classified ads yesterday afternoon and low and behold a lady in Bointon, OK had this one left for sale, so we loaded up the van at 6:00 and brought him home. After the supercenter stop off for a crate and some food we finally got home around 10:30. He slept pretty good in the crate. I'm thinking he is going to give Bryant a run for his money. He's spunky, but he'll get still and quiet if he's in your lap!

Here's the family's take on the puppy:
Bennett: "I would have been happy just getting another Webkinz dog"
Addison: "Can I hold him, Can I hold him, Can I hold him, Can I hold him, Can I hold him!"
Byant (aka the terrorist): "Let me atta 'em!"
Doug: "I'm totally hands off"
Leigh Ann: "I've lost my mind"
puppy: "You might call me U.G.L.Y. but my friends, well, they call me Murphy."
