Laura E.

Sweet, is the first word that comes to mind with Laura. I've known her family for quite a few years. Her parents have done something right to get these great kids. I was honored to capture this time in her life....her gallery is under Laura E.

Josh R.

May 29th can not come soon enough for this senior! He has really worked hard and I'm very proud of him, he is one I'll cry over I'm sure at graduation, I'm such a sap! His gallery is under Josh R. on the website.

And speaking of websites, things are a changing! As far as I know the site address will be the same, but the look will be completely different and the galleries will not be visible on the homepage. I will begin giving clients passwords, so they can proof their images. Also, I will hopefully have a page where I can post slideshows, so that friends and family members don't have to have a password to view the session. Clients will also be able to order online. So I have a lot to figure out in the coming days. If you have a recent session, I may be contacting you to give out passwords. It make take me some time to upload my sessions from this spring.....so we'll see? Anyway, this website is the one I've been wanting for quite a while, it looks much more professional! It should be up and running in the coming days.

Tommy--Senior '08

I just couldn't ask for a more talented graphic artist on my yearbook staff than Tommy. I tease him all the time about letting him work for me one day. He's done the editing for A Closer Look photography studio during this spring, so that tells you what skills he has. In fact he can edit better than me! I just don't know what I'm going to do without him next year. I knew tonight would be fun, there is no other senior who deserves great pictures more than Tommy! He is going to U of A in Fayetteville, so hopefully we'll keep in touch. I may just not be able to afford him:) BTW: this was the second half of Phuong's session, too, since we got a little rained out last night. I added a few more to her post below.

Mother's Day

Since Mother's Day is approaching, I had the opportunity to capture the Atchley family. Look how cute these four are! Their gallery is under Spring Atchley's on the website. J. is my blogger buddy, we've had a good time starting our blogs.....Hope you enjoy them.

Prom Season

With Northside and Southside having prom so late....many of the girls are just getting their dresses and making plans for the night of. Ellie had a trial run with her hair, so we decided to photograph her with her dress. Beautfiul as usual. She is just so easy to photograph! She has a gallery on the website, Prom Ellie

Phuong!

Just watch out world because you will hear about all the great things this girl will accomplish in the years to come. Just yesterday, I overheard one of the kids talking about all the seniors leaving and they said, "Who could ever replace Phuong?" I couldn't have said it better myself! Her gallery is under Phuong D. on the website.

Commencement Speakers for 2008

Dear seniors,

Although I could listen to all 13 of you on graduation night, there is a limited time reserved for the infamous graduation speeches. First let me say that by overwhelming agreement, your class was represented well this afternoon. It doesn’t surprise me, though. After the judges tallied their scores the top three speakers were chosen. There will be three speakers and one who will welcome our guests. Natasha Rogers will be the first speaker. Dung Dang will present second; third will be Jessica Hawley. Because she is senior council president and a traditional part of graduation, Norma Lopez will welcome guests and begin the ceremony. The three commencement speakers need to meet with Mrs. Dewitt in the coming days to set up practice times with her. Also, I will meet with all of you to prepare your speech for commencement. You will be required to stay after the commencement rehearsal on May 29th in order to practice with the microphone.
Because the speeches were all great, I am requesting that Kenny Flannagan deliver his speech at the senior banquet on May 20th. I am printing a portion of Carlos Ceron’s speech in the Baccalaureate program. Also, I am planning to print a portion of Jane Van’s speech in the program for commencement. I will contact you to let you know what I need from you. Lastly, I would like Amber Bell to deliver her speech at the academic celebration at school on May 20th for the student body. In the meantime, feel proud of the work you have accomplished and know that the year is drawing near; savor these precious times. I am proud of you.

Katie-NHS senior

What a treat I had tonight, I got to take a break from downtown and photograph Katie at a beautiful home in our area. The grounds were breathtaking! Katie fit right in, there. Congrats Katie, just four weeks left! Her gallery is under Katie S. on the website.
