Happy Birthday Boys

Monday was Blake's birthday and today is Sims birthday, but Sims is the big 40! We suprised him today by wearing all black and wearing stickers of Sims at a younger age. We are sad to loose Blake-he took a new job at UAFS, so this is his last week. We've all become really close friends working on the focus team.

Birthday Bash

We had a great time last night visiting with family, and I think everyone enjoyed the food? It was definately something different for all of us to do, maybe a little too fancy for the two year old! You can tell by the first picture that his night wasn't so grand!

the baby and his toys

I snapped a few of Bryant playing this morning in his room. We forget just how simple playtime really is. After a couple of rounds of peek a boo behind the curtain, he sooned found the dino, guitar and of course the camera. I aleady know I'll have to do something with this precious photo of him taking a picture of me!

Happy Birthday to the best husband I could ask for!

Doug's birthday is tomorrow, we are traveling to NW Arkansas to eat dinner with all the family and his staff at work to celebrate the big day. I can't wait. We are going to the Boi D'Oro brazillian steakhouse! I plan on not eating all day Saturday to have plenty of room. Here's a few pictures of us from this past year. The kids and I have given him a gift a day this past week, Bennett was happy to give him two new Wii games, go figure. I got him some new music cd's. I just can't convince him to get an ipod? so much cheaper for music. Then a boat anchor, yes an anchor for his boat. The checker at WalMart laughed, she said, "I didn't even know we sold boat anchors!" You know the guy is getting everything on his list if the wife is buying a boat anchor! Oh, well. We love birthdays around here, so Happy Birthday, love!

Max

Here's some updated pics of my nephew, he will be six months next week, we don't get to see them near as much as we would like! But we had a great time this weekend. I just love this age, it sure doesn't last long. The rest of the pictures are on the website under newborn-www.stillmomentsbyleighann.com

Two times the Blessing!

These two girls safely arrived last Friday. After too many prayers to even count, the Martins were blessed with these beautiful babies. We all just couldn't wait to see what they were going to be. The parents didn't want to know what they were having. "In this day and time there are few surprises left," as Jennifer said, so they waited. I have to admit, I always wanted to wait too, but I just couldn't wait, knowing the information was there waiting on me. It was such a joy just to see them today, healthy and AWAKE! Imagine that? To photograph them was my blessing. They speak for themselves. All I have to say is Ryan is definately King now! Four girls! Just ask Emily want kind of party she planned for you in a few years! This last picture is for Ryan, when I saw the picture, it was screaming for me to put the comment. We love you guys and hopefully the next days will be filled with as much sleep as you can squeeze in. We all are still praying for you and the girl(s!) The rest of the pictures are on the website, under twins.

Brian and Christen

Here's my favorites from today's session with a great friend of Doug's and mine too for that matter. I'm looking forward to you guys joining our Sunday night crew. You guys were just great today. Sure beats chasing toddlers! No offense, I've got one myself. It is just nice to get great pictures without standing on my head! The rest of their session is on the website. http://www.stillmomentsbyleighann.com/. Their wedding is in June. Congratulations!

You know you're a Redneck!

We took the new toy out today, Doug hasn't named her yet, but I'm sure he's thought about it. The kids loved it, surprise surprise! I did enjoy being together as a family. We rode somewhere out in Spiro, might as well been Sallisaw for all I know? It was a great place to ride since we had to take turns. It was so beautiful today, sure is a shame that groundhog saw his shadow:(Bennett got to take some photographs today, he's really growing up these days. He was so proud and one was even in focus!I also spent some time downtown with Addison trying out some new settings on my camera, my kids are so good to play the models. I do bribe them, though! Today was a Wendy's frosties for everyone.
