Here's to the holidays

my lil guitar hero!
We had a terrific time with family over the Christmas week. I guess the highlight was catching up with my grandmother from Mobile. Another one was playing countless hours on the Wii. Who knew? My neices both got 4-wheelers that are the cutest things. Bennett and Addison enjoyed those, too. I hope your Christmas was full of wonder.

It has begun

Tonight we traveled back from our Hasley Christmas with all of Doug's aunts and uncles and their kids. We had our gathering at the Mulberry Mtn Lodge straight up the pig trail. It was great day with our family_which we never really get to see so Christmas is a special time besides the gifts. Speaking of gifts, both Molly and Addy got their first American Girl doll. They were very excited to say the least. I know the holidays isn't about the gifts, but these precious pictures of the girls with their new dolls was too irresistible not to post. Now, on to tomorrow for another special day with family. We got a super blessing last night. Doug's mamaw has been in terrible back pain, miraculously the surgeon operated and she is 100% better_ so now she can enjoy this season with the rest of us.

Storyboards

Even though the resolution is not good on blogger, these storyboards are precious in real life and easy for me to do. So, if any of you want some made, just tell me what images you would like for me to play with and I'll be happy to put it together for you. I can have text on it, or leave it off, I can create whatever color combo's you want, too. Since I had some fresh shots from the Tecmire's I though I would put some together. The storyboards are usually 16x20 and the cost is 45.00. It prints as a normal photograph and then you can mat and frame it.

The Tecmire's

I could have titled this post Finally! as I titled my own last week. Thanks to Amy for getting those priceless smiles with Craig! I know he will treasure them. This family is very special to so many of us. We watched from distance T-Bird (as her mother so endearingly calls her) and her brother be born. And, we anxiously await their homecoming each time. Well, this time we managed to get schedules together so we could capture their family before Craig is deployed in the coming months. As usual I couldn't pick my favorite so I posted several. Their gallery is under Tecmire on the website. Their stay has been entirely too short and we look forward to next time. Can't wait until Fort Smith is permanent ----whenever that might be?

Prayers for Rosemary

Today, our staff learned that our dear friend Rosemary Meyers, may not pull through her bout with cancer. There are not enough words to even begin to express our love for her. She is above and beyond our cheerleader, enthusiast, backbone, keepin' it real, set it straight kind of girl. I'm lifting up Pat, her husband, and Ryan, her son, and praying for their endurance to cope with this news. If you are reading this please pray forRosemay, Pat and Ryan. Everytime tragedy strikes someone close to me, I go back to those verses in Daniel when God delievers in so many different ways. My prayer is that she will be delievered from this illness. I want Rosemay and all that she represents to carry on.

Brinkley's

Aimee is a great friend of mine and my first client just this time last year! Anyway, I tease her all the time that lil Bailee will break Bryant's heart one day. They are just 2 months apart and hopefully they will be Grizzlies one day. She's such a smart little girl and as cute as it gets. We had these photographs made for their Christmas cards. Enjoy, their gallery is under Brinkley on the website.

Finally!

Doug, the kids and I finally seized the opportunity to snap a family shot or two for our Christmas shots. I've already made our card with just the kids. But, I always love having a family picture with all of us for the scrapbook. I like taking some at church, too_but with just the kids in front of the poinsetta's. Anyway, it wasn't cold today so on a whim we decided to get r done! We were so bold to take Murphy, he did great, too. I love these times, holidays, family, and faith.

Happy Birthday

We had so much fun setting up for Tuesday morning. Addy turned 6 today. We had balloons covering the floor and streamers everywhere so when she woke up, she would be surprised. Bryant was the first one up, and we could hear him saying, "Boons, Boons, Boons!" Even Murphy played and yes, popped more than his fair share. We opened presents and played with a few new toys before we were off to school. She couldn't wait to get there, at Ballman, they call their names over the intercome on their birthday and she'll get to wear a crown. Thanks to the "No Sugar" rule, we can't send treats, but I know Mrs. Smith made her feel special. After school we went to Chuck E. Cheese with family and enjoyed those games and their presents, too. Sunday is her party with friends. We are going to watch a movie, Mr. Magoo's Emporium. I can't believe how big she is. She's grown a foot I think and I am so blessed to have been given a girl. I know I will look back at these times and wonder why we couldn't freeze frame it. I guess that's where the pictures come in.

Seay Family

Thanks to Jessica and Jill for passing my name along. This family was such a treat. I know you guys will enjoy these pictures for years to come. The boys were a dream to photograph, really. I just love black with fall colors and this was certainly no disappointment! Call me anytime.

Beth Ann

Here's some shots from Sunday. What a trooper, Beth Ann underwent abdominal surgery just two short weeks ago. She is doing fantastic and looks beautiful, too. We hope to get some Christmas cards made soon. They just moved here from Heber so I know all her friends miss her terribly and the Christmas card will be welcomed.
