Branson Fun!

Doug and I took the kids to Branson for a few days and we packed the two days with more than a two year old could really handle, but Bryant did his best to keep up with the older two. We had been given a great gift by Trish to use a voucher for Silver dollar City, that she and Roger had, but they asked for id, so plan B was to go to Celebration City. We had a great time there. The kids had never been on a real roller coaster, Addy couldn't get enough of them, but Bennett was a little more timid. He did ride all of them once, but that was good enough for him. Bryant was able to ride a lot of rides by himself which was nice. Can you imagine Doug with his long legs on those little airplane kiddie rides? Anyway, we stayed there much longer than Doug or I ever imagined. After that we headed back to the landing and watched their summer movie, Polar Express on the big screen by the fountain. We really enjoyed staying at the landing, it was super easy to get the kids around and we had very little driving. So I work Wednesday and Thursday of this week and starting next Friday, my summer is officially over! how sad~where does time go?

Sarah H is a fellow photog, so when she said she needed some shots before her boyfriend moves to begin his teaching job, i was excited. She has some great locations downtown that photograph beautifully. This blog doesn't do the color justice, that's for sure, but here are some of my favorites.

Rideout family

I have grown to love this family and tonight I got the chance to meet the brothers and their families. Such beautiful people. I couldn't decide on my favorites, but here are a few. Emily thanks so much for setting this up. Meredith, we are almost there~ Big Junior year, huh! Oh, and I will put a few on facebook for you girls, but it will have to be after I get back next week! look for those soon.

Jennifer+baby girl

This was my first official maternity session. After talking to Jennifer last week, I knew that tonight would turn out great. She preferred to just look natural and not do a studio session with her shots, I like how they turned out, not too revealing, but something she can hold on to in the years to come. We joked last week, that once tonight was captured that baby girl could join us and start loving life. Hopefully it won't be too much longer! I can't wait to see her! oh, and just so you could post them on your blog, Jennifer, I didn't run a slideshow, just a few stills of my favorites, so if there is one shot in particular you want to copy, let me know. I'll add it.

Braydn~what a cutie

What a precious family, little Braydn was all smiles, he wasn't too crazy about the cake, but we managed to get some messy shots out of him. He turns one in a few weeks. Thanks so much Kerra for contacting me, I hope you have fun choosing, my goodness the camera loved you guys. I ran out of time to make a slide show, these are just a few of my favorites. I'll try and post a slideshow sometime soon.

Meggan and company

This was my first time to meet this family, however I work with Meggan's mom and Doug graduated with her from SHS, so in a way, we were connected. How precious are these boys. It reminded me of how sweet Addy and Bennett were to Baby Bryant when he came along. Before too long those three will be wrestling and just taking over poor Meggan! There is fun times ahead for you. Thanks for calling and hope you enjoy some of these sneak peaks!

Wii Fit

how much fun can one person have learning balance and exercising? Anyway, I've had a good time laughing at the kids when they play the balance games. I guess my favorite so far is the hula hoop. Doug found the game on ebay, for a great price. The game has been sold out everywhere, so this was a great treat to come home to. We've been playing most all day, now to the house that needs cleaning!

APPA Conference

Earlier this week, I had the chance to attend the Arkansas Professional Photographers Association's state conference. We had outstanding speakers. Jenny Hollis http://www.jennyhollisphotography.com/, John Bamber,http://www.bamberphotography.net/ who photographed Kay Arthur (wow), and Michael Colon, http://www.mikecolon.com/ who photographed Usher's wedding, yea the singer!. It was so much fun and I learned a lot. I got to catch up with a photog friend of mine from DeWitt, Tammy and meet a new friend from Mississippi, Kandy. We got a new idea to do with studio lights. I've posted a few of Addy. Anyway, it was a real treat to learn some new stuff.

Miss Molly

I've wanted to play in the studio, I haven't been taking shots there much since the summer brings such great outside shots, but tonight we got some really good ones of Molly playing in the skirt! Whoever wants skirt pictures, just let me know. They are priceless and super easy to get those precious smiles!

July 4th Holiday

We have more fun with the kids all spread out at Mamaw's. She has such a nice home and she loves it when we come crashing in. There are a bunch of us that's for sure. Thanks mamaw for letting us hang out and enjoy you and the rest of the family. We had a great time to say the least. From four wheeling, to the redneck hay ride, to our own firework show, swimming, the water slide, baseball, cook outs, homeade ice cream, oh and did I mention fireworks! It is always fun to be in Mena.

Conine Family

We had the chance over the holiday to photograph Dawn and Mark's family, so she could have an updated picture with little Max! We found a great creek bed that worked perfect for a scenic backdrop.
