All on their own

What is it about a kid learning to ride a bike? Addison worked for about thirty minutes, yes, she is ridiculously coordinated.....except with swimming..(heaven help Coach Bullock this summer)and she was on her way. Bennett took a little bit more coaxing to convince he could do it, but he managed to catch on, too. But regardless of how long it took, I was the proud mama! here a few of the kids with my dad, brother and Addison with all hands off! My niece, Bailee, who is just six months older than Addison showed just how competitive she is... after Addy figured it out, and about three more attempts Bailee was off and running, too.

Gary and I had soooo much trouble teaching the girls to ride a bike. We would have to switch off because we would get so frustrated. I ended up screaming "There has got to be somebody in the phone book we can hire to do this!" Haha needless to say, cooper has yet learned to ride, but the girls are pros. 2 out of 3 ain't bad! lol

Ah, the days of teaching the kids to ride bikes...Katie was terrified, and it took her forever to convince her that she could. Seth, however, asked at 3 YRS OLD to have his training wheels off, and after a couple of trial runs with dad, he was riding on his own!! Tyler didn't show any interest, but one day, my mother in law looked out her back window and he had taught himself on one of her babysitting bikes in her backyard at 5 1/2! Good memories to keep close to your heart!!

I love your pictures! Madison (my 6 year old) just learned how to ride her bike about month ago. :) I've learned to keep a full box of band-aids & neosporin handy at all times!
There's nothing like being a "proud mama!"
