Messenger Family

Most of you have prayed for this family over the last few weeks, especially for Anelise. If you don't know this family please check out this link http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/babymessenger to read their journey. The next few weeks could possibly bring big changes for this little one. We all pray a blessing on Chairee, Andy and the boys as they love Anelise and care for her. I tell ya, God did a wonder on me tonight, I just couldn't help but be in awe of Chairee's faith. She was such a blessing to me. Her spirit is one of a kind. You know those moments where you just feel God, well tonight was one of those for me, there I was listening to Chairee be thankful for things, no bitterness, no harsh words, just faithfulness came from her. She is so precious with those boys. Our intention was to capture the new family of five, but at the end, she let Anelise rest inside and we played with her and the boys. Priceless is all I've got to say, about the whole session. Anyway, I've just posted a few of the shots here, but the entire session will be under my featured gallery on the website. http://stillmomentsbyleighann.com I'm working on uploading now.

College Friends

Last weekend, I was able to stay over with some college friends. I took Addy and Bryant with me, too. There are too many kids between all of us to even count--and they are all right around the same age. We had a great time, thanks Amy for letting us crash!

Crawford family

With all the Crawford crew in for a short stay, Jennifer planned the "big picture." Since most of the kids, other than the twins, are older, it was simple....well unless you consider the RAIN! Some of the shots had rain drops on the lense, which made me sad, but hopefully we got what they needed. An updated photo for Bob and Becky! Beautiful Family! Thanks for letting me do it!

How Fun!

Can you just imagine what blessings this mom receives each day! Triplets....that is something else, I tell ya--plus a big brother to help out. There were precious to photograph---I knew they would be. Their mom and I went to OBU together and it is always fun to see the kids. Oh, and their mom's website is listed on my sidebar under crafty places.

GABC Get Together

I must say our class knows how to do it right; I just wish we could get the weather to be cooler! We were all suffering from the heat, but we had a great time. Thanks Emily and Nathan for organzing it. From the looks of the smiling faces I think everyone enjoyed themselves. I love my church and all the friends that go with it! the kid picture cracks me up, I could almost title it, "Guess how many kids are here?" They were like ants running every where!

What did you wake up to this morning?

Well, Doug and I both woke up out of a dead sleep to an explosion of light and bark, yes I said bark! There is enough bark to build a boat, I'm sure it would sink, but still....There is a lot of bark in my yard. I had to work this morning so I didn't take time to notice exactly what was hit by lightning, but in this neighborhood, trees are a constant target. Well this time we got it and I'm so sad ---it is my favorite tree--- the huge one in our front yard. We called the expert, Daddy Doug, to see what his opinion is on the salvage of the tree....He referred us to somebody(?) so they could tell us the outcome. I love oaks, but I guess I would rather it not fall on the house.. so I'll keep you posted. I've never seen something struck by lightning unless you count Sweet Home Alabama movie when it strikes the sand, but you know--that's not real. Well my front yard full of bark is impressive, lesson for today, don't get near the oaks with pop up showers. Yikes!

yea! for scrapblog!

I'll be the first one to say that I love to create on photoshop with nothing but a blank page staring at me, especially when my kids are the subjects! But this scrapblog site(thanks Amy S.) is the next best thing to slice bread, those of you who say, you don't have time to scrapbook, well here is your answer. There are lots of ways to post, either use their publish categories or export as a jpeg and use just as a picture which is my favorite, because now I can upload those files to scrapbookpictures.com and print them for my albums! Oh and there is a link on my sidebar under crafty places tab! oh, the best part of it is, IT IS TOTALLY FREE!

Summertime

What is there not to love about summer? Let me copy Beth Ann and give a top ten list of why summer rocks around the Hasley House!
#10-we get to sleep late
#9 I get to fix lunch for my kiddos
#8 we see Daddy at lunch
#7 we hang out with friends without being on a time clock
#6 we go to the library
#5 I have time to CLEAN my house
#4 We stay up late
#3 my kids have a blast playing with each other--I've often said our house would sound no different if all the toys were gone. All three are completely silly with each other
#2 We get to spend time in Crossett
#1 Swimming!
This picture of Bennett cracks me up, by looking at him, you think he doesn't eat. Just this afternoon he ate 7 slices of watermelon. I owe you Sherry!

Kelly and Jon

how blessed are we~

For Father's Day we took the boats out and had a picnic and fished. I must say although it was hot, it was well worth it. I am so blessed to be married to the greatest dad and husband. Days like these are such that I thank my God for his direction in life and give him the praise for designing this family. Bryant caught his first fish, it was just his size, too. Bennett and Addy were coached by Nana and Papa~ and they had great luck, too. Bennett and Addy both caught plenty so they got to practice reeling them in. As far as i know, Papa took care of baiting the hooks, but Addy much enjoyed fishing for the worms! Yuck! Sorry for all the photos, but I had too many favorites.By the way, Lake Fort Smith is beautiful! you must check it out!

Another Wedding

Here's a couple that I instantly fell in love with. You guys were great and so personable, it is as though we've known each other much longer than two weeks! Here's a sneak peak at their wonderful day. oh, and when I get a chance I'll have their gallery under featured session on the website and maybe get my slideshow to work on this here blog.

Kelly and Jon

Isn't it sweet to see young couples taking that step of faith to devote themselves to each other and to our God. This is another former student. It seems like there are many weddings this summer with former students I have two down and two more to go... that I know of. I'm going to be a wedding hopper this summer. Between family and friends, I hope I can get Doug to go to more than just one!

Wedding season

Well, June is upon us, huh! Here is a former student and her husband as of today. Congrats Teresa and Harley. We barely made it before the rain to capture some of the bride and groom.

Kraus Family

Since all the great grandkids were in town, we thought we would capture this for memaw, ( i think that's what they call her). I know everyone had a long day, but maybe some of these images will help you remember that life is always fresh and new with children. I am uploading their session on the website, it should be under the featured session for those that would like to see them with no password
