OBU! Go Tigers Go!

We had a Ouachita Baptist University showcase at Grand Friday night, which was a great time to get caught up with some friends that are now working there. I also had the opportunity to meet some new people, like Dr. Rex Horn, the new president. There were some people here in town that helped set up for the night and lucky for my kids, I managed to bring home balloons from the event. We had a fun time eating some lollipops and playing with the balloons tonight. For such a yucky day, these pics made it brighter! Go Tigers Go.

Easter

We started our Saturday at Tilles park where we played with friends from church and school, and then managed to actually hunt for a few eggs. Bryant had a great time. After that, Doug helped the kids dye eggs. We had a great Saturday! Sunday was fun, I actually cooked! It is neat to see how Bennett and Addy get it now, with Easter not just being the "Easter bunny" event. Addy still has questions like why we dye eggs and what that has to do with Jesus? I have to admit, she has a point. However, anything we can do together as a family is priceless to me. I am steeped in traditions, I just love them. Our service was great, and a time to reflect on the majesty and glory of our Lord.

Bennett's turn

Bennett and I played tonight with my studio! At least I have Easter pictures of he and Bryant. I don't know when I'll brave getting all five of us together? Bennett had to do his Home Alone face, and he was in flight in one of the shots, and then I managed to get his precious smile on a few.

The M. Family

It just doesn't get any better than this. I had a blast photographing this family tonight. These are the twins from a few weeks ago, but with their precious older sisters with them this time. I was excited to take some with the studio lighting. I told J.and R. that their girls could be models. I had so many that I loved, I couldn't decide which to post. So enjoy. The rest of the session is on the website.

Bryant

Bryant was home alone with us tonight since the big kids were at friends homes' I had nothing for the boys to wear for Easter, so literally Addy, Bryant and I parked walked in with no stroller btw, and bought the boys clothes at childrens' place in less than 20 minutes and that includes a stop by the cookie co. That had to be a record. I only managed to set the alarm off once. While I was pulling things off the rack, Bryant decided to get the cookie early and I flew out behind him, setting off all the alarms, I just smiled and said oops! let me pay for these. If they only knew that i had been alone in a car with my three darling ones for the previous five hours. These photos look like he's an angel, precious, right! yea, more like he should wear black on Easter, dressed as the tanzmanian devil. Bring on the three's, the two's are wearing me out!

Ella Grace and Tucker

I got to visit with Becky, a close friend from college today. Her precious children were a breeze to photograph. Ella Grace is just about nine months. Tucker is just a few weeks younger than Bryant. You can see their session on the website under Wooten.

Let there be light!

I finally bit the bullet and bought studio lights. I've been saving and saving and finally I have them. Here's a few shots I took of Addy, I'm glad I have a girl who doesn't mind posing!:) This last one is my favorite. I asked her how she got so good at crossing those eyes? She said, "I practice at school, mom!"
